A perfect night.

What made my night???
Holding a 3 year old for hours while watching UP. Feeling her laugh. Feeling her breath. Watching her wrestless body not hold still. Having to say--- ok it's bedtime. Then brushing teeth and combing hair. Then being asked for just one more story... Twice... So we read 3 books. Then there was kisses, hugs, I love you's for all 4 babies in the bed and then extra kisses for the mini. Then I go get into bed but get called back 4 times to tell me something else. Including a great plan to get stickers tomorrow and climb the mountain and see Kenzie. Because the mini misses Kenzie the most :)
After I finally get into bed I hear "I have to poop!"
When I go to whip--- the door is locked! Great. We got it open.
Then the kisses, hugs and I love you's started over.

I laid next to Ryan and we both said--- that was a perfect night. Wishing it was like this all the time. I can't wait for our own chaos.

I think about y'all often. I hope you and Ryan can welcome your own bundle of joy again soon. I read blogs of several angel moms, and let me tell you, it makes me hold my little one a little bit longer every day.

So cute. My perfect night?? Keeping track of a 20-month-old for a few hours while his parents are at their friends house watching football. The best part?? Braxton finally getting tired while watching "Monsters and Aliens" and sitting still on my lap with his blankie and binkie instead of running through the house throwing all his toys around. Ahhh - the love. He gives hugs and kisses now and calls me GaGa. Hummmmm. Grandma GaGa. Kinda has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Ha Ha Love ya. Aunt Mary
