Calling All Angels

How do you like the blog makeover?
New look... New title!

Have you ever heard the song Calling All Angels.
Its by Jessie Clark Funk.
The first time I heard it I was pregnant with Kenzie. The song is about a baby she had that was stillborn. I never compared it to Makenzie then. It was more a heart wrenching song that I prayed I would never really understand. It wasn't until a few months after Kenzie died that I heard it again. Now I get it. Now it means something. I sing that song to Makenzie on a daily basis.

A quiet voice is calling my name.
I hear you laughing,
but the question remains:
Are you dancing or playing above?
Momma's
aching to give you her love.

There's a smile I can't wait to see.

A lullaby that you loved to sing.
Just to know I'll hold you again
is the gift I'll hold until then.

Calling all Angels.

I need to feel something familiar
Something real.
Am I just dreaming?
I close my eyes.
I feel you near, feel you inside.
Just to call your name
and know that you're still there.
Calling all Angels.

I know the plan was having you here.

Sometimes what's best is so unclear.
But baby girl put your hand in mine
as I walk through, the fire refines.

Calling all Angels.

I need to feel something familiar
Something real.
Am I just dreaming?
I close my eyes.
I feel you near, feel you inside.
Just to call your name
and know that you're still there.
Calling all Angels.

Father of us all,

You know the reason that's she's gone.
She's in my heart
and now in your arms.

Calling all Angels.

I need to feel something familiar
Something real.
Am I just dreaming?
I close my eyes.
I feel you near, feel you inside.
Just to call your name
and know that you're still there.
Calling all Angels.
My little Angel.

Its our song... Well one of them.
So the blog is no longer Living Our Love Song... Although the Lyrics have changed.
Lets face it, there is no love song here...

Oh Kendra, I don't believe you don't have a love song anymore. You've added another song to the "playlist", so to speak. We don't know each other, but I have faith in you.

I always find solace in this : "Every song has a CODA, a final movement. Whether it fades out or crashes away. Every song ends. Is that any reason not to enjoy the music? The truth is, there is nothing to be afraid of. It's just life”

The new look is very pretty but I miss seeing the big pic of Kenzie at the top. And I agree with the above poster that you guys are still living your love song, the love you share is obvious in every post. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers!

LOVE the new look, it's incredible! As for your love song, I hope you truly feel that has gone because I think you have an incredible one!! The love between you and Ryan and your love as parents is indescribable-you are so loving, so warm, so open, tender, sweet and the most awesome parents. I am praying this is the month, crossing fingers and toes, and can't wait to see what your future holds! Sending you love and hugs as always, Em
