once upon a time...

Did you know I lived a fairytale?
...Its true...
It was complete with a King, Queen and an unbelievable little Princess!
You wouldn't believe me if I told you everything we got in that life.
You're probably imagining gold, unicorns and an endless supplies of twinkies but seriously its so much better than that...
we had secret play dates in the middle of the night, we had hours of imaginary fun when we lost ourselves in storybooks, we had millions of kisses and hugs and i love you's, we would play dress up all morning and splash in the tube all night, we went on great adventures, we had bottles and bottles of "gold", we had this beautiful animal that would prance around and give us kisses- she is a magical creature, we had so much power- power to do whatever we wanted. We lived, laughed and loved all day - ever day. Its so unbelievable because it happened out of no where. We were 2 regular people. Living a regular "normal" life when all the sudden a fairytale started. Every dream we ever dreamed came true, every wish we ever wished came true and everything we ever imagined and more came in this tiny little 6 pound package on July 18, 2009.
Out of no where, we got to live this life!
...Oh...what...a...life...
I pinky swear promise that this was my life.
Can you believe it?
I still cant!
I have to pinch myself to believe it was true.
**thanks to my incredible sister A for making this picture that left me breathless- i love you**

It was a fairytale, the most beautiful kind. And the princess will live forever, in your hearts. The picture is beautiful.

Kendra,

That is an amazing way to look at the way you lived your lives together. And she will be forever your princess dressed to impress.
You have an amazing way with your words.

Thank you again.

Everytime I read your blog I'm left breathless. This latest blog was the icing on the cake. You have such a magical way with words. The pic that A created is amazing. You're lucky to have such a great sis. I continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. I think of Kenzie everytime I see a balloon and when I hear certain songs on the radio that you've had on your blog. She's affected so many lives and I'm so sad that I never had the chance to meet her. I pray that she will always be so close to you looking out for you everyday.

It is amazing how this precious child touched so many lives. Thank you for sharing her and your memories with us. Kendra, things will pass and memories will keep MaKenzie with us all. You do have a special way with words that touch all of us out here in life. I'm grateful for having a good niece and nephew and grateful for having a niece who touched my heart so. I'm having the students here do a service project-little leg warmers. I tell them about MaKenzie and how the leg warmer helped her at a time when comfort was needed. I hope it goes well you never know about these kids here, but I try. You and Ryan stay close to the Lord for He will help you pass through this hard time. Remember the silence and you will hear and feel MaKenzie
Love you both very much.
