Positive!

After what seemed like a million negative ovulation tests, talk of using chlomid next month if I couldn't ovulate this month and recent advice from my sil I finally tested positive.
WooTWhooT.
Step one done. Now onto getting those babies in me.
Tomorrow morning at 9:00 am I'll be implanted with our donor sperm.
Ah I am so very excited and nervous all in one.
And of course ryans out of town this weekend! So I really have to get pregnant without him :)
I pray it goes well and those swimmers swim!
Come on little baby to be. We are so ready for you!
I'm keeping my fingers and legs crossed.
For luck and to help hold everything in :)
Please please happen!

Congrats to you. Can I ask a personal question? Did you get pregnant naturally with your first sweet baby or this method? Just curious. So sorry about your loss. i know that another baby can bring healing, though the longing for your other one will never go away. Good luck.

Kendra,
I have been reading your blog, praying for you, Ryan and Kenzie all along your journey.
Today, oh, what a day for you all!!
I have my fingers, toes and heart crossed for you while you are crossing your legs.
Loved your humor of getting pregnant while Ryan is away!
Good luck and let the swimming race begin!

Oh I knew it would be this weekend! I think you were testing far too soon after your cycle (Ovulation usually happens smack dab in the middle (so generally 11-15 days after first day of your menstruation!)

Congratssss though! I'm glad you're not anxious anymore, I knew you just needed to give it the right amount of time and you would drop an egg!

Hey, I've got my fingers crossed that maybe you dropped two or a splitter this month! Would twins just be a bow on the top of this?!! hhaha

Best Wishes. I'm glad you guys found something you agreed on and I really hope it happens on the first one and done!!

@ Sara,

Kendra and Ryan conceived their first two pregnancies the good old fashioned way. Unfortunately, and unknowingly they carried the genes for the disease, SMARD, that took little Kenzie (and baby #2 that Kendra called Gracie, during pregnancy this year) far too soon.

They decided to go this route this time because it would eliminate one of the genetic parents from being a carrier of SMA/SMARD so that they had a much higher chance of a healthy pregnancy and littleon.

With them both being carriers, they have 1/4 chance of having baby with Smard, 2/4 chance of having a baby that carries and a 1/4 chance of having a typical "healthy" baby.

They didn't want to risk losing a third littleon.

K- feel free to answer this more eloquently yourself and delete this if you see fit.

Praying that God blesses your whomb. That through you he raises up a multitude for his name. Praying that your child cries out to the Lord at a young age. That he grants you wisdom and peace. That you feel greatly loved and kissed of God. Praying for robust health for your new little one, praying that her/his days are long on the earth so that he might win multitudes for the kingdom. Praying for a strong family united through love, loss, joy, & sorrow. May you feel the peace that all these prayers bring. May you find rest in him.
God bless you.
