Blog book 2010

This is one if the biggest reasons I blog.
I love this.
I love how it comes together and I love that I have it forever.
Blog book 2010 done... Now I just need to finish 2011 before 2012 ends.

This is our 3rd book.
I do them all 12x12 and love how big some of the pictures are.
A lot of time gets put into these but they are so worth it.
I got this back before Track was born but I have been too busy posting about his cute face that all this other stuff is put on hold.

Kendra,
(ps I'm a major blog stalker). I really want to do this. Can you give me the details on how to print these off and where you get it done? Looks amazing!

I love blog books too, but I am WAY behind. I have 2008 complete, but that's it. This is motivation for me to get back to work :)

Your blog book turned out so good. That is also one of the reasons I blog. Do you mind sharing what web site you use. I have tried a couple different ones and haven't been very happy with them so I would love to know who did yours because it looks amazing!

That's beautiful! Can I ask where you had this done? What was the rough cost? My cousin passed away this past March from Ovarian Cancer. She was 36. She had a blog from when her first child was born. Her children are 4 and 6. I wanted to make her blog into a book for her husband. Honestly, I think he forgot she even had a blog. It is still just sitting out there. Any info you can give me would be great!

I did this book through blurb.com
You have to down load a program called booksmart. You upload your blog and than you have to pretty much reformat every single picture/page/post. Its very time consuming for me but I love how it comes together. When it first uploads your blog I had to do it in 2 different uploads because I had to many pages for the book. You can only print a maximum of 450 I think and on my first upload... Jan 2010-June 2010 I had almost 900 pages. but thats just because it puts just about every picture you have on its own page. I then have to go through find a new format for each blog and put each picture where it should go. The second upload I had July 2010-Dec 2010 again had my book with over 1000 pages and it kept giving me warning signs that I cant print more than 450 pages... blah blah... anyway so after going through every single post my book was condensed from 1500+ pages to 390ish...
I did a 12x12 book with a hard cover. The cost was I believe $120.
That is expensive to me but its honestly so worth it. This is my journal, my scrapbook, all my memories...
If you have more questions I can do a post and kind of walk you through how I do it...

Oh and another thing... You dont have to have a blog to create a book. You can just put together a picture book. I am in the process of making Tracker his own ABC book and ill be using them. So if you are not into blogging you can still use them!
