An Early Christmas.

If we couldn't be blessed enough to have such amazing people who love
and support us on a daily basis
someone- some beautiful angel out there decided to go over the top
and blow my socks off once again!
Sunday morning we received a delivery.
There was a crowd at the door.
We answered and were told Makenzies tree sold!
woo hooooo
AND
whoever bought the tree wanted to donate it to US!
You have no idea the emotions that ran through me that day.
I was shocked at first.
I just stared in amazement as they brought this huge tree in and set it up.

Once the amazing group of people left who delivered our tree. I couldn't hold back any longer. I couldn't stop crying. I prayed and Thanked God for whoever did this. Not only did they donate a large amount of money to a well deserving hospital but they gave us the pleasure of displaying this love filled tree in our house. for forever. I have laid next to it for hours. Playing with the MAKENZIE train.
Ryan keeps saying its proof that our baby will SO be here.

So what do we do now? How can we possibly give back half of what everyone has given us? How can we make a difference like so many of you have for us?

We have a really cute pre-lit decorated tree. Its the first tree we ever bought
and
we want to find a deserving family in need.
If you know a family in the Salt Lake/Davis county that needs a Christmas please send me an email.
Please only email me if you KNOW this family is in need.
We will donate it to the first family that comes along.
We always do a couple angel tree gifts every year so we would love to have a little info on this family so we can leave some gifts under their new tree.
I know there are so many people out there that need help. I wish we could help everyone.
I know this isn't much but with your help of finding this family,
maybe we can help someone else have a very Merry Christmas.

This is absolutely the most beautiful Christmas story I've heard all season. Your little family has touched so many lives, and it's so nice to see you receiving something so wonderful in return. I hunted down Kenzie's tree at the Festival and took a picture of it, then said a little prayer for all of you while trying to wipe tears from my face. You are amazing and I hope this makes your Christmas a very special one!
Thinking of you always!

I'm filled with such emotion reading this. Not only did this person realize how much the donation is needed but to present you with this unbelievable gift is amazing.

I pray that you find a deserving family for your tree, what a great idea to pass it onto someone else.

Im so happy for the both of you. To get to have that amazing tree with you for a lifetime, what better gift could be given. A special tree for a special baby girl and her parents. Im so glad to finally have met you in person that night at the young women activity. through cassidy I felt that I already knew you but to realize I hadn't met you was kinda weird!!! May the spirit of our Savior be with you and Ryan always!! Love you Kendra!

Another post that made me cry, but tears of joy and appreciation for the wonderful heart of whoever bought the tree! I am so, so glad you have it in your home and I know Kenzie is SO excited for you to have this extra special part of her there with you. I know she is with you everyday, and especially during this tough time but I hope having this 'physical' item to look at and stare at in awe helps you to feel her there with you. I know you stared at her in awe, of her beauty, her strength, her presence...and this tree has all those things, so perfectly fitting as a tree for her!!
I think your idea is so special too, to give back in your grief does help heal, not only some of your hurt but the hurt in those you are helping. Christmas is such a rushed time of year we all need to stop and do for others, the most important gift we can give is love-and you do that so well!!
Love and hugs, Em

When I found out this tree was coming to your home, I jumped at the opportunity to help deliver it. It was such a neat experience to be with everyone setting it up in the home it belonged in from the start. There is always a reason for things that happen in our lives. Some we understand, some we don't. That is when we just have to look around and see the blessings that fill our lives. So happy for you two, thank you for letting me be a part of the making and delivering of this amazing tree and your amazing little girl!
