advice...

So in a way to clean out our place, get some extra money in the bank and de-clutter ourselves we are creating a pile a mile high of "stuff" that needs a new home.  How do you go about getting rid of your stuff?
Yard sales... Is it to early?
KSL.... sometimes things don't sell and I HATE needing to update my stuff a couple times a week to bring it to the top of the search list
Blog... I have seen a couple people do that- have you had much success?

We really want to get going on this because well--- We have some big things we need to be saving for right now and any little bit of $$ helps right?!

I'm open for your ideas and feedback...

in case you are wondering the types of things we have on the market...
- picture frames
- clothes
- car seat (not Makenzies)
- accessories
- furniture
- DVD
- home decor
+ way to many other things...

As much as I hate doing them - a yard sale. Yes, they are a lot of work but in the end you usually make some money. Check the ads in your area to see if they are showing up yet - if they are, it isn't too early. I've seen quite a few friends post on facebook about the "first sales of the season". You could also check ebay and see if there is a need for any of the items on there and you could try selling them that way.

Ebay or craigslist! I buy lots of Iz's stuff on craigslist myself, it was a lifesaver for in the beginning and since I've gotten some great items including furniture off from their as well as sold some.

Good luck.

K that looks crazy because I didn't know how else to copy a link on here, but if you copy & past that into your browser it will work. Its another blog I follow & the lady just wrote the top 15 best yard sale ever tips. They are really good if you are going to do a yard sale!

So one of the radio stations (I think its B98.7) is having a gigantic yard sale at the E-Center/Maverik Center next month. Everyone is invited to bring stuff and set up to sell whatever you want. The only catch was that it is a $25 entrance fee that is donated to March of Dimes. I would love a sneak peak at what your selling :) I'd buy something! :)

So true! You should post some pictures on your blog of what your selling...you have tons of followers who would snap up stuff immediately! :)

I was just going to say what the Sorensen's said....a lot of people do blog sales and post pictures of the stuff they are selling with a price they would like to sell it for. Then from there you can do it 2 different ways....give it to the first person that makes a comment that they want it or you can give it to the highest bidder and if you do it that way you have a certain time that the sale ends. Hope this helps!!
