Photos

I cant stop taking pictures of my beautiful baby. She is so gorgeous. She has these amazing eyes and such an awesome personality.

When she crys her arms and legs go crazy. She likes to have her arms free so no burrito baby. I have already had to trim her nails twice. She will only sleep on her side. I try to keep her on her back but she screams and wiggles to her side. She loves to be snuggled. Our favorite thing to do right now is lay in bed and just look at each other.

Makenzie and Harley

Yes Harley is still around :)
She has been a bit of a jealous dog but for the most part very good around the baby. She loves to lick Kenzie's feet! Kenzie doesn't like it so much though. Harley will sit right next to her anytime she crys and look at her like she is crazy. Its been pretty cute!

Daddy's Girl

Ryan has become a new man with this little one in the house. She has stolen his heart and has him wrapped around her little finger. Sleepless nights are okay as long as its because of Kenzie :)
She has been having a hard time knowing days from nights. She will SCREAM from about 9 pm. - 1 am. We have tried to comfort her, cuddle her, rock her, feed her, let her cry (which we have both learned we cant do. What is it about your own baby's cry that makes you cry yourself?)
Since Ryan has to get up early and go to work I have been trying to get up with Makenzie every time and try to help her stop crying so Ryan can get some sleep, well the other night she feel asleep for a second and in that second I passed out and didn't hear her start crying again. I woke up about an hour later and went in her room to find Ryan rocking her. I felt so bad but he loved every minute of that midnight Daddy Daughter time. I cant believe how much my love has grown for Ryan and how much more I love Makenzie every day. Being a parent has totally changed our world and we couldn't imagine a day without her.

My World, My Life.

24th of July

Our 24th of July didn't work out the way we planned. We started out the day swimming with my Mom, Jill and Alana and her family. After sitting out in the sun for a bit Makenzie had enough and I took her home. I think she had a little to much sun and heat because she was really warm and wouldn't wake up for her feeding. Ryan and I gave her a cool bath which really helped. We were going to go to our friend Derek's bday party but because of the days events and because I wasn't feeling so good that day we ended up stayed home to rest a bit and get some food in Makenzie, we had a little BBQ and watched Forever Strong.
(Sorry Derek and Allie- we still owe you)

First Bath

Our baby LOVES her bath. She is in heaven in the water. It definitly wakes her up though- she will just cuddle after her bath and watch you for a few hours. She is so sweet.

Introducing....

Ms. Makenzie Rye Webster
Our beautiful baby girl was born July 18th at 2:10 am.
Weight: 6 lbs
Length: 19 1/2 inches

She is PERFECT!

Kenzie is the honestly the best thing to ever happen to Ryan and I. She is amazing. We cant stop staring and kissing her.

Her camo bink :)

Happy 1 day birthday!

She was doing this... I was awake!
She has dark hair... I was sure she would be bald but nope- she has a full head of hair.

The car ride home-
We have been doing lots of this....

On July 21 she went for her 2 day doctor apt. She is doing awesome. Growing great!
She has had NO problems.
Hooray!

I cant get over what a beautiful baby I have. I still cant believe I'm lucky enough to have her. I never understood how much love you can have for someone until my Kenzie Rye was born. Ryan and I have never been happier.
Of course its not an easy job- I'm totally amazed at every other mother out there because it really is a very difficult job. ESP. when you trying to teach this little one how to eat :)
She is worth every sleepless night, headache, tear and anything else she will throw our way.

Just a little early

Ryan's birthday is July 20 but since our little one is due only 2 days after his birthday we celebrated a little early to have a better chance of it not being canceled. It was so much fun having family and friends come over. Like some of our gatherings it went till the wee hours of the next morn.
*** 4:00 AM to be exact!
Ryan had a blast and loved that so many people came to celebrate with him.

This was the show at the END of the night!

hunting

MRW- Your Dad is ready for his hunting buddy!

ryan

...RYAN...
My whole world!

I know within the next few days/weeks this blog will be filled with nothing but our new little MRW so I figure I have to post as much as possible about my better half now.

Ryan has been so amazing through this whole crazy pregnancy. Although I have been a little bit of a crazy one he is always right there to calm me down and make me feel better. Anytime I don't feel well or when I'm extra tired he steps up without question and does anything and everything I need. Even though I have gone a little crazy sometimes with what I want and buying things for MRW he just smiles and gets excited right along with me. Although I have been having anxiety about everything under the sun esp. working full time, going to school (I hope full time) and being a wife and mother Ryan always makes sure to let me know he is here for me and will do anything I need to make it easier on me. I can always count on my Ry to tell me he is proud of me- even if I only got a C in one of my classes :)

Now that we are down to the last few days of being a no strings attached newlywed couple to having a FAMILY, I just cant believe how lucky I am. Ryan is going to be an amazing Dad. He proves that to me over and over everyday.
*** quick story*** last weekend I was getting ready before the bee's game and I heard a kid screaming outside. Before I could think twice our front door slammed. I looked out our bedroom window to see Ryan go over to this new little boy in our neighborhood who was sitting on the ground. He knelt down next him and was talking to him for a minute. They then stood up and the little boy grabbed his hand and they walked down the street. When Ryan finally came back in I asked what happened. He told me the little boys Mom just walked down to the pool to get his brother and Teonte (Little neighborhood boy) just got really upset and was throwing a fit. He said he just walked him down to his Mom who kept telling him, Thank you so much I was watching him the whole time and I was coming right back he has just started throwing those fits lately.
Since last Saturday Teonte has now been keeping his eye out for Ryan because anytime we open our door to let the dog out- Teonte runs over. He is usually disappointed when its me and not Ryan so I have been making Ryan go out there to just to say hi.
Not only is he amazing being my husband and a soon to be baby Daddy but he is just an amazing person. Ah I love my hubby.
~~~ What Ryan's been up to lately?
- Work Work Work... Although this economy is rough and his company is feeling it they are pushing through and working their butts off to make up for lost $$. I hate to think about him sweating to death in the hot warehouse he works in but I am so grateful he has such a great company to work for and great people he works with.
- Mr. fix it! Aside from the baby's room we have had quite a few things around the house that have caused some issues lately. Good thing Ryan is patient and likes to get his hands dirty because I have said numerous times just throw it away and we'll get a new one- agghhh! Nope, Ryan has always fixed it and makes it work better than when we bought it brand new!
- Cooking MASTER... I have been pretty good about keeping up with cooking dinner throughout my pregnancy but esp. lately I have just been so sleepy when I come home I cant imagine standing for any longer to cook dinner so Ryan always whips up some new recipe and its always amazing... mmmmm....
- Day dreaming about HUNTING! Okay this boy seriously cant wait to get back on the mountain. He is counting down the days until he finally gets to go. I'm super nervous because the opening of the hunt is just a few weeks after my due date. AHH... Who knows when MRW will come and how she will be- I'm so nervous to be left alone with her. I got upset the other day but Ryan assured me that if I was still that worried Mid. August he wouldn't go. Ahh big sigh. Like I would really ever stop him from going (I seriously never would)- its just comforting to know he really would do anything for me- which includes postponing a hunting trip. HOLY COW... that's huge :)
So My Ryan- Thank you for being you. Thank you for giving me the oppertunity to be a Mother and your Wife. I cant wait until MRW graces us with her presence and we can spend the rest of our lives growing old together as a family of 3 + Harley. You are my hero in every way- I love you!
the last few days...
14 days!
I can’t believe how close I am to meeting my daughter.
This weekend was definitely a great one. I took Monday and Tuesday off so I could have a nice long weekend to get all the last minute things ready for our baby.
What we have done:
* Friday night we were lucky enough to get tickets from my boss to the REAL game! Ryan brought his 2 friends Dallas and Tatum and we all had a blast!
* Saturday - Happy 4th of July!!!
We got breakfast at our favorite diner by our house called Sills. We then did a little shopping for Ryan’s upcoming hunting trip next month and bought some new toys and bones for Harley so she can keep herself busy for a little while after the baby comes.
I have been feeling really sick the last few days and it really hit me on Saturday :(
We went to the Bee's game that evening with my Mom, Jesse, Josh, Olivia and Jesse's daughters. We always have a great time going to this every year- the only prob. this year- they had like 4 extra innings which made the game end at almost midnight!!!! The only reason we stayed is because we had to watch the fireworks after the game. I usually love baseball games but this one went a little too long.
* Sunday was a very relaxing day because all I did was SLEEP! I have never been one to sleep in or take naps and I did both. Again I wasn’t feeling great so that def. had something to do with it. Once it Sunday evening rolled around and really NOTHING got done, I felt a little useless so I made Ryan take me to the pool for a swim.
* Monday I took the opportunity to finally use my Christmas present from my boss. It was a Mani/Pedi at Brickyard Spa. AHHH- I was in heaven for 2.5 hrs!!! I then did a little shopping at a new found favorite place - Tai Pan Trading. I have only been to this place once and I was in and out in like 5 min. to pick something up for my wedding. It was so much fun looking at all the decor and dreaming what I would like to do in my house. For right now- they are all staying dreams though.
* Tuesday was my weekly doc. apt. Other than having a rough morning and being 20 min. late it went great. I am on my way and have progressed a little. NOT as much as I would have liked (Lets face it, I secretly wished he would say WOW... You’re in labor and Im ready to check you into the hospital right now) sigh... oh well...
Ryan's birthday is 2 days before my due date and he is turning 25. Its kind of a milestone so I had to make sure we did something fun. Im throwing his party this weekend so its early enough the baby most likely wont be joining us. After my doc. apt I did a big shopping trip for not only his party but stocked up on anything we might need so we don’t have to worry about going to the store for a few weeks after the baby is born. When Ryan got home from work I took him to pick out his bday present and have dinner.
At one point he had really nice sunglasses but lost them a few years ago. I have been freaked out to buy him a new pair because I don’t like spending $200 + dollars on something he will lose. I finally gave in and he got a brand new pair of Oakley’s~ Oh lucky lucky boy.
Now 2 weeks until my due date I am feeling very very pregnant and sleeping is almost impossible right now. I have finally been able to find a some what comfortable place at night- it at the foot of the bed. Ryan is not very happy about this because he has to be very careful not to kick me in the face but I seriously can’t sleep in any other position or any other place.
I’m so anxious for our daughter but I know she isn’t ready yet. She already knows when she is coming so I just keep telling myself to be patient and relax. It will be here before I know it and at some point (prob. in the middle of the night) ill be thinking, ah remember when she was still in my tummy :)
