The only thing that makes it hard is that is always labor day weekend right at that time so parties were hard when I was little...but all in all it is a great day!Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13500867184905567069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-85176514640405520092012-08-22T06:34:46.467-06:002012-08-22T06:34:46.467-06:00I know how you feel about the shopping. He is long, but not chubby. Blah. All well.
Your belly is beautiful! I can't wait until he gets here! I have been following along your journey since right before you became pregnant with T and I am so excited for you and your hubby!! Basically, I figure that the "month" sizes mean "up to - months." So if you buy a 6 month outfit, he will likely grow out of it around the time he is 6 months old (unless he is super chubby or super skinny). A 9 month size sounds about right for him to wear in the spring. Don't worry!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14471707030950095674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-71044920310331034812012-08-21T15:05:44.846-06:002012-08-21T15:05:44.846-06:00Oh I so feel you on the sciatic nerve pain! One that my phyical therapist showed me it to grab onto the edge of your sink--near the counter end. (Cup your fingers into the sink with your palms over the edge of the counter.) Bend your knees slightly, while bending over forward--but arching your back. Gently pull backwards while doing this, as you feel a stretch in your legs and rear area. It might feel a little sore at first, but it relieves some of the pain for a little bit.
Another good stretch is to lay on your side (either--you can alternate) and take the leg on top and grab your ankle, while pulling back towards your rear. While doing that pull your leg up towards the ceiling. That will also be a little sore, but it does help!
For any pelvic or pubic bone pain--I have learned that if you keep your legs together (as close as possible) while sitting it will help. I know it will be difficult--easier said than done, but I have the same pain during pregnancy and still have it for a couple of months after, so I am still doing this myself.
I hope any of this helps! You can also ask your doc to refer you to a physical therapist. It really does help!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-17801354372347263812012-08-21T14:53:05.936-06:002012-08-21T14:53:05.936-06:00While some babies do grow out of things at the spe...While some babies do grow out of things at the speed of light, some don't and that's ok. My first son was full term, born on his due date, 7 lbs 11 oz. He was in newborn for 3 months, 3 months for 2 months, 3-6 months until he was 9 months old. He is now 2 1/2 ad wears 24 month pants but 2T shirts. He has a long torso and short legs. And while the pediatricians are always concerned until they do the blood work, he is in fact perfectly healthy, just short! My twins were 5 weeks premature and at 8 months old are still in 3 month clothing. But once more perfectly healthy and making nice big growth leaps. All kids are different. If it makes you feel better don't buy bigger clothing. Stick to newborn and 3 months (just in case he is born too big for newborn. My friends kids never wear newborn longer then a day but she has 9-10 lbs babies).Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01285525086889595753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-27225755563009682902012-08-21T11:14:29.565-06:002012-08-21T11:14:29.565-06:00It's almost time for him to get here!!!
