My daughter Olivia died 3 years ago and we have since had twins. I adore the twins but its so hard to know they would not be here if it wasnt for her loss. They keep my busy but that lump in my chest is still there, everyday. The yearning just never goes away does it.
Tracythepagefamilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05367347465550456744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-30106742992716719512014-04-20T20:10:28.131-06:002014-04-20T20:10:28.131-06:00I think any mom knows that the best place for her ...I think any mom knows that the best place for her baby is with her, in her arms. I know people are well-meaning and that often there is comfort in knowing she is in a safe and good place, but I think that it is the "better" that is tough to swallow. I think you should be a proud Mommy every day-you love your precious ones more than life, and to keep going each day is a testament to that love and strength. You are amazing, and Kenzie and Tracker are both so lucky to have you!! These tough days will come, of course, you miss your baby girl-but just keep doing what you are doing, what you need to get through and then go give your sweet little boy a cuddle. Fill your arms with love and know Kenzie sent him to give that to you once again.
Love and hugs, EmEmmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01373239709669736814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-26972552080450040262014-04-20T20:10:06.888-06:002014-04-20T20:10:06.888-06:00I think any mom knows that the best place for her ...I think any mom knows that the best place for her baby is with her, in her arms. Your strength and raw honesty amaze me all the time. I wish so much this was something you didn't have to carry, that you didn't have to know what it feels like. I don't know what more to say than you are loved, you are prayed for, and she is prayed for. Everyday. And I hope that if nothing else you can feel that.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938838915333469310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926880480919201378.post-49497123201843761152014-04-16T14:06:31.515-06:002014-04-16T14:06:31.515-06:00Thank you for sharing your complex feelings. I am so sorry Makenzie is not there with you and torturing Tracker (as 5 year old little girls do to their baby brothers). I agree with you. she is not in a better place. the best place for her would to be with you. PJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03143151182684114127noreply@blogger.com
